Editorial Policy

Labs Lynx maintains editorial standards to ensure all content published on this website is accurate, current, and useful to readers. This policy describes how content is created, reviewed, and maintained across the site.

Who Creates Content on This Site?

All content on labslynx.com is written or reviewed by Ian McCaffery, the founder and lead engineer of Labs Lynx. Ian holds a Computer Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has over five years of professional experience in software development and DevOps engineering. Content about specific technical topics reflects direct, hands-on experience with the tools, platforms, and practices described.

Labs Lynx does not publish content written by individuals without relevant technical expertise. Guest contributions, if any, are reviewed by the founding team before publication.

How Is Content Accuracy Maintained?

All factual claims, statistics, and technical details on this site are based on direct project experience, industry-standard documentation, or verifiable third-party sources. When external data is referenced, the source is identified in the text or linked directly.

Case studies describe real projects completed by Labs Lynx. Client names and identifying details may be anonymized to protect confidentiality, particularly for government and defense clients. The technical details, outcomes, and metrics described in case studies are accurate representations of actual project results.

Testimonials published on this site are from real clients who have worked with Labs Lynx. Attribution reflects the client's actual role and organization type, with identifying details anonymized when required by confidentiality agreements.

How Often Is Content Updated?

Labs Lynx reviews all published content on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy and relevance. Service descriptions, case studies, and technical content are updated whenever significant changes occur in the described technologies, practices, or project outcomes.

Pages display a "last updated" date when the content has been substantively modified. Minor corrections such as typo fixes or formatting adjustments do not trigger a date change.

How Are Corrections Handled?

If an error is identified in published content, Labs Lynx corrects it promptly. Significant corrections include a visible notice describing the change and the date it was made. Minor factual corrections are made directly in the text without a separate notice.

Readers who identify errors or outdated information are encouraged to contact hello@labslynx.com so that corrections can be made.

What Are the Disclosure and Transparency Practices?

Labs Lynx does not accept payment or compensation for publishing content about specific products, services, or companies. All content on this site represents the independent views and experience of Labs Lynx.

Service pages describe Labs Lynx's own offerings and are clearly identified as such. Case studies and testimonials involve Labs Lynx's own client work. There are no undisclosed affiliate relationships, sponsored content, or paid placements on this website.
